America’s Best is part of National Vision, a leading optical retailer in the United States. This role oversees the eyeglass department and leads a team to achieve sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a Florida store.

You will coach associates, manage staffing and merchandising, and ensure compliance with company standards while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience. Supervising experience is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Optimizes and oversees the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Conveys a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and ensures all associates do the same.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Ensures effective merchandising and execution of marketing, pricing promotions, and initiatives according to Brand and Company standards.
• Supervises and motivates Opticians and CL Sales associates and ensures day-to-day functions are completed.
• Assists the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting and retaining staff.
• Leads and coaches associates towards sales and customer service goals.
• Mentor potential Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
