Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is expanding and seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead the eyeglass department in a high-volume location. You will drive sales, manage staff, ensure policy compliance, and deliver excellent customer experiences.

You will coordinate staffing, mentoring, and coaching to meet service goals, while maintaining brand standards and driving profitability for the store. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for management of teams.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress.
• Ability to analyze, create and understand financial reports.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO and NCLE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitors retail operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Optimizes and oversees the eyeglass department for efficiency and compliance with policies.
• Identifies opportunities and creates action plans for improvement.
• Conveys a commitment to outstanding customer service and ensures teams do the same.
• Ensures quality standards are met.
• Executes merchandising and pricing promotions per Brand and Company standards.
• Supervises and motivates Opticians and CL Sales associates and day-to-day functions.
