Job summary

LensCrafters in Hemet, CA is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Team Lead to deliver exceptional customer service and manage optical and lab processes for high-quality eyewear and patient satisfaction.

The role requires a state Opticianry license and strong retail experience, along with leadership and strong communication skills. You will assist customers, perform lens measurements, and supervise store operations.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license required.
• Strong optical & retail experience preferred.
• Knowledge of optics theory and merchandise.
• Strong communication and listener skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and sales skills.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Leadership and training experience.
• Edging and mounting experience.
• Basic optics knowledge and measurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide unsurpassed customer service and assist customers with selections.
• Deliver knowledge and recommendations to customers and support sales team.
• Act as alternate store key holder as needed.
• Perform lens measurements, dispense eyewear, and adjust eyewear per OD prescriptions.
• In lab (if applicable) custom fit glasses and ensure optical standards.
• Maintain lab tools and ensure safety and cleanliness.
