Job summary

Warby Parker in Massachusetts is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our optical team and provide exceptional customer service for eyewear needs. You will take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure finished products meet our standards, while guiding the team and maintaining store operations.

You will act as a keyholder, opening/closing duties, mentoring opticians and retail staff, and fostering a positive, productive environment for staff and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license, or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience including supervisor responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct interaction with customers to meet eyewear needs and assist with measurements and fittings.
• Explain prescription terminology and product options clearly to customers.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team and Apprentice Program participants; manage store operations and inventory.
• Open and close the store as a keyholder and maintain store systems and a positive work environment.
