Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor in Boston to lead an in-store optical team, assist customers with eyewear needs, and uphold Warby Parker standards for service and operations. You will be a keyholder, opening and closing the store and mentoring staff while ensuring flawless eyewear fitting and accurate measurements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience as a dispensing optician (ABO preferred), strong communication skills, and a passion for eyewear and retail.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states requiring a license or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers directly to meet eyewear needs and take/record measurements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Lead and mentor Optical team, including Apprentice Program participants.
• Open/close the store and support internal operations as a keyholder.
• Maintain store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
