Job summary

Warby Parker in Acton, MA is seeking an Optical Supervisor to lead our in-store optical team. You’ll rely on your optical expertise, friendly demeanor, and product knowledge to create outstanding customer experiences while upholding our standards.

As a keyholder, you’ll open and close the store, mentor the Optician Apprentice Program participants, manage inventory and systems, and ensure precise measurements and high-quality eyewear for every guest.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states, with 2+ years of experience, including supervisor responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear, and execute these details with flawless accuracy
• Check that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Set store up for success daily by ensuring operational, service, and staff procedures are followed
• Lead and mentor the Optical team and participate in the Optician Apprentice Program
• Maintain store systems and inventory databases and support overall business operations
• Foster a productive, positive employee culture in the store
