Qualifications

• Licensed optician in the state and license current.
• Minimum 1 year optical experience.
• Minimum 1 year retail store experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions and process orders accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
• Interpret prescriptions, measure, and recommend frames and lenses.
• Manage order fulfillment and sales transactions.
• Perform eyewear fittings, adjustments, and repairs.
• Operate optical equipment per procedures and licensing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and store policies.
• Assist Optical Manager with opening/closing and cash handling.
• Promote a collaborative customer-focused environment.
• Keep the optical department clean and organized.
