Job summary

Weaver Group Insurance Agency in Bay City is seeking a Licensed Office Manager to run the Bay City office, acting as the heart of the agency and ensuring client interactions and administrative tasks flow seamlessly.

You will oversee daily operations, manage records, coordinate appointments, handle communications, prepare documents, process policy changes and applications, and foster a welcoming environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years in administrative or office management, preferably in insurance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong organization and time management; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Property & Casualty license required; Life license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Bay City agency to ensure smooth workflow, including opening & closing the location.
• Manage agency records, including client files, policy information, and financial data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, for the agency team.
• Handle incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Prepare customer documents, process policy changes, generate quotes, and process insurance policy applications.
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for clients and team members alike.
