Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. seeks a proactive Loan Officer to guide clients through the financing process, assess financial data, and tailor loan solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work with an in-house manager and processing team to deliver strong support and leads.

You will review credit reports, recommend products, and drive timely approvals, all while building lasting client relationships and meeting sales targets in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS)
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
