Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a proactive Loan Officer to guide clients through financing options, assess creditworthiness, and close quality loans. You will leverage leads and collaborate with an in-house manager and processing team to ensure a smooth loan process while staying compliant.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, an active NMLS license, and strong communication skills to build client relationships and achieve sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS)
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business
