West Capital Lending is seeking a motivated Loan Officer in Detroit, MI to help clients secure financing that fits their goals. You will guide clients through the entire loan process, analyze financials, and present tailored loan options with regulatory compliance.

The role combines sales, service, and strategy, backed by an in-house manager and processing team to support successful closures and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced lending environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar financial role.
• Active NMLS loan officer license required.
• Strong knowledge of loan products, underwriting, and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan processing software.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation.
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software
