Job summary

West Capital Lending in Illinois is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to guide clients through the financing process, evaluate financial information, and tailor loan solutions while ensuring compliance. You will work with an in-house manager and processing team, with access to leads and a strong support network to ensure a smooth loan experience.

You will build relationships, assess financial data, and navigate regulatory requirements while striving to meet or exceed individual and team sales

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and loan processing software.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation

• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS)

• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness
