Job summary

West Capital Lending seeks an experienced Loan Officer to guide clients through the financing process from application to close. You will review credit and financial data, recommend suitable loan products, and ensure compliance while delivering outstanding service.

Leads are provided with in-house support from a manager and processing team to help you achieve sales goals and build lasting client relationships in a fast-paced lending environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation.
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
