Job summary

Landis & Associates Inc is seeking a motivated licensed insurance professional in Baltimore, MD to join as a Licensed Insurance Producer and Customer Service Representative. This role focuses on building client relationships and providing expert guidance.

You will sell and service personal and commercial policies, respond to inquiries, process endorsements and renewals, and collaborate with underwriters to offer competitive coverage.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Property & Casualty or Life & Health Insurance Producer License required.
• Experience in insurance sales or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proficiency with agency management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service personal and commercial insurance policies to new and existing clients.
• Respond to client inquiries, policy changes, and coverage questions promptly and professionally.
• Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and new business applications.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to meet client needs and agency growth goals.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in agency management systems.
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships to drive retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to secure competitive coverage options.
