Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across multiple locations in your region. You will coach a team of technicians, ensure compliance with codes, and partner with store managers to keep facilities safe and reliable.

You must hold an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state and EPA Universal Certification, with 3–5 years in facilities or mechanical maintenance. Travel ~50%+ locally.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years in facilities/maintenance, construction or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and leadership ability.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to address needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain contractor licensing and compliance with regulations.
• Secure permits and coordinate inspections per codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety and quality standards.
