Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to oversee facilities maintenance across a local regional market in the United States. The role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, with 3-5 years in facilities management and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities include leading a team of technicians, managing HVAC/R and building maintenance, and coordinating with Store Managers and leadership to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections in accordance with mechanical and building codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
