Job summary

Visionworks of America is seeking a Licensed General Manager to lead a service-driven team and coordinate the patient journey from doctor visit to eyewear pickup. The GM will balance profitability with a superior customer experience, manage doctor relations, and drive daily operations to meet store goals.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, 3+ years of related experience, and an active State Opticians License.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of related experience required.
• Optical management experience preferred.
• Licensed GMs must have a current State Opticians License.

Responsibilities

• Maximize store profitability while maintaining patient/customer experience by meeting financial and performance goals.
• Engage with the Doctor to discuss business needs, associates, and patient experience.
• Prepare and plan daily operations by managing traffic, appointments, and eyewear services.
• Hire, train, coach and develop store associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Identify and resolve obstacles to improve the patient/customer journey.

Education

HS Diploma or GED

Bachelor’s degree preferred
