Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy store, driving profitability while delivering a superior patient and customer journey from doctor appointment to eyewear pickup.

As GM you’ll hire, train, coach staff, manage doctor interactions, schedule, traffic and ensure outstanding service. A HS diploma is required, with 3+ years of related experience; optical management is preferred and licensure may be required. Illinois stores include growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three or more years of related experience.
• Optical management experience preferred; licensed GMs must have a current State Opticians License.

Responsibilities

• Maximize profitability while delivering exceptional patient and customer experience.
• Engage with the Doctor to align on business needs and patient experience.
• Plan daily operations by managing traffic, appointments, and eyewear services.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop store associates to uphold service standards.
• Lead operational activities to meet financial and customer experience goals.
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain smooth patient journeys.
