Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from ABET-accredited curriculum; post-graduate degree preferred.
• Active licensure as a Fire Protection Engineer in at least one US state or jurisdiction, preferably local.
• Desirable professional affiliations (NSPE, SFPE, NFPA).

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection design services across conceptual through construction documents under supervision.
• Meet with clients to validate scope of work and prepare proposals.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams including architects and engineers.
• Direct and supervise junior staff on projects and review their work.
• Assist in responding to RFIs, submittals, and QA/QC processes.
