Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year escrow experience required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of SoftPro preferred.

  • Business fundamentals: privacy and confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

  • Complete routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure.
  • Read and understand title commitments.
  • Resolve title issues (e.g. corrective deeds, liens, judgments, bankruptcies, etc.).
  • Understand real estate regulations and guidelines.
  • Coordinate the closing between all parties to the escrow.
  • Return calls, voicemails and emails in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cordial relationships with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote business.
  • Follow company policies and guidelines.
  • Adheres to state laws and guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to complete routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure
  • Ability to read and understand title commitments
  • Ability to resolve title issues (e.g. corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments)
  • Understands real estate regulations and guidelines.
  • Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines
  • Coordinates the closing between all parties to the escrow
  • Returns all calls, voicemails and e-mails in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business
  • Adheres to company policies and guidelines.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 years escrow experience is required
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of SoftPro is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills -- both written and verbal

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
