Job summary

Dream Finders Homes in Franklin, TN is seeking an escrow specialist to manage routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate submission of closing disclosures. You will read title commitments and coordinate the closing between all parties.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of escrow experience, knowledge of SoftPro, and notary public status. A high school diploma is required, and a college degree is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to complete routine residential resale, refinance or builder escrow transactions, including document preparation and the accurate preparation and submission of the closing disclosure.
• Ability to read and understand title commitments.
• Ability to resolve title issues (e.g., corrective deeds, vesting, federal tax liens, abstracts of judgment, bankruptcies, mineral rights, boundary disputes and encroachments).
• Understands real estate regulations and guidelines.
• Follows company standards and practices when processing transactions, as well as applicable state laws and guidelines.
• Coordinates the closing between all parties to the escrow.
• Returns all calls, voicemails, and e-mails in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains cordial relationship with realtors, lenders, builders, buyers and sellers to promote/solicit business.
• Adheres to company policies and guidelines.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE:

• Minimum of 1 year of escrow experience required.
• Knowledge of SoftPro a plus
• Notary Public
• High School diploma is required.
• A college degree a plus
