Ideal candidates hold an active U.S. Customs Broker License, have 3+ years in a brokerage or forwarding role, and excel at details, collaboration, and clear communication with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Customs Broker License required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a customs brokerage or freight forwarding role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Classify imported goods per HTSUS.
• Use ACE Portal for AES filings, protests, and regulatory tasks.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. customs laws.
• Communicate with CBP and other agencies (FDA, USDA).
• Oversee CTPAT and TSA requirements.
• Advise clients and internal teams on customs matters.
• Review and maintain customs documents and records.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends.
