Job summary

Allstates WorldCargo is seeking a Licensed Customs Broker to lead U.S. import clearance activities within a fast-paced environment. The role oversees entry preparation, tariff classification, duty calculation, regulatory compliance, and cargo release while coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds an active U.S. Customs Broker License, 3–5 years of brokerage experience, and strong knowledge of HTSUS, ACE entries, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Customs Broker License in good standing.
• 3–5 years of customs brokerage experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTSUS classification, valuation, origin, and ACE entry processing.
• Ability to interpret regulations and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs brokerage software.

Responsibilities

• Review import documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare, review, and transmit customs entries through ACE and brokerage systems.
• Coordinate cargo release and timely filing of entry summaries and post-entry documentation.
• Classify products using HTSUS.
• Determine applicable duties, taxes, fees, and other import requirements.
• Maintain customs records per regulatory recordkeeping requirements.
• Coordinate with CBP and Partner Government Agencies.
• Respond to RFIs and notices; assist audits and special projects.
• Provide customers guidance on documentation and regulatory changes.
