Madison Reed Hair Color Bar in New York seeks a Hair Color Bar Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist, to support licensed colorists and the shift lead while learning services and helping guests choose the best color. You will handle consultations, shampooing, conditioning, and assist with blowouts and treatments in a fast-paced bar environment.

This role offers base hourly pay plus commissions and tips, with potential earnings in the stated range.

Formación

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you apply.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail is acceptable; beauty industry preferred.
• Effective communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Support shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, and color services as needed.
• Help drive sales through retail, memberships, and add-on services.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and security of the Hair Color Bar.
• Learn color theory and skills to grow toward a Licensed Colorist role.
