Job summary

Blew & Associates, P.A. is seeking a Licensed Civil Engineer to lead our engineering team on multifaceted site development projects in Texas.

You will oversee all technical disciplines, mentor an Assistant Engineer and a Civil Design Technician, and collaborate with other Project Engineers to ensure accuracy from conception to completion. You must hold a current professional license and have at least five years of Civil 3D or CAD design experience, with knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics

Qualifications

• Current engineer license is required.
• Minimum five years of Civil 3D or CAD design experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydrology and hydraulics preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with professionals and clients.
• Strong leadership, decision making and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop complete development projects (grading, drainage, sewer/waste water, roads, utilities).
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects.
• Mentor a small team and collaborate with other engineers and design staff.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations; interact with city/state entities.
• Oversee QA/QC, budget, schedule and client communications.
