Job summary

Bluewater Civil Design, LLC is seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead civil site development projects across the Southeast United States. The role oversees planning, design, permitting, and construction, acting as the main client liaison while guiding project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Required qualifications include a PE license and 6+ years of civil engineering experience, with strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 6+ years of civil engineering and land development experience.
• Experience managing site development projects from concept through construction.
• Strong knowledge of site grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and erosion control.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, permitting, and execution of civil engineering projects from concept to construction.
• Serve as primary client contact and oversee project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and work plans; monitor budgets and profitability.
• Direct the preparation of civil plans and specifications and review technical documents for accuracy.
• Lead permitting efforts with municipalities and regulatory agencies and manage risk.
