Job summary

Macy’s, Inc. is seeking a Manager for the licensed Starbucks cafe inside our Plantation, FL store. You will oversee daily operations, ensure brand standards, safety, and profitability while delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Lead a team of Supervisors and Baristas, schedule staffing, control costs, manage inventory, and coordinate with Macy’s and Starbucks District leadership to meet goals. This role requires ServSafe certification or state permits, 2+ years of retail or food service

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail, restaurant, or food service management experience.
• ServSafe certification or state health department permit required.
• Ability to obtain Barista Trainer and other Starbucks Licensed Leader certifications within introductory period.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all café operations, ensuring a safe, brand-right environment that meets standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop Supervisors and Baristas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in line with Starbucks and Macy’s expectations.
• Ensure consistent food and beverage preparation and presentation per standards.
• Develop schedules and labor plans to optimize productivity and costs.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and invoices to meet budgeted costs.
• Review financial reports to meet sales, expense, and profit goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
