Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Assistant Practice Manager to inspire and support the team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results.

You will assist the Practice Manager with daily operations, patient flow, and multi‑function team coordination on the practice floor. This role emphasizes hands‑on development, cross‑training, and readiness for expanded responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Extensive dispensing experience required.
• Optical/healthcare/retail or comparable service/operations experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and function across multiple practice positions to support patient care and operations.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration and follow-up skills in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations, patient flow, and team coordination on the practice floor.
• Support exam flow, provider needs, patient handoffs, and readiness for procedures.
• Contribute to onboarding, coaching, and staff development.
• Identify workflow barriers and communicate priorities to the Practice Manager.
• Support front desk flow, optical floor, and technician/clinical workflows as needed.
• Serve as practice point of contact in the Practice Manager’s absence.
