Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead in the store, act as a business owner, and drive metrics in the community storefront. You’ll support the Store Manager, coach team members, and ensure exceptional patient and customer care while maintaining visual standards and policy compliance.

Responsibilities include improving key KPI performance, mentoring staff, and coordinating staffing while working a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid state Opticianry license.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes and policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proven selling skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to meet KPIs such as sales, traffic, and profitability.
• Supports store manager in diagnosing the business and leveraging synergies of Retail, Lab & Doctor.
• Leads a team with training, feedback, and performance management.
• Maintains store appearance, implements visual directives, and ensures policy compliance.
• Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends; ensure patient/customer care standards.
