Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations when the Store Manager is unavailable and to act as a business owner within the marketplace. You will drive key performance indicators and support a team that includes retail staff, the lab, and optical doctors.

You will help recruit and train high-caliber talent, ensure policy compliance, and maintain a first‑class store appearance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current state Opticianry license is not applicable to this posting.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Proficient with cash handling, computers & calculators.
• Excellent English communication for written and spoken content.
• Strong selling and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Drive KPIs: sales, conversion, traffic, and profit.
• Collaborate with Retail, Lab and Doctor teams for positive results.
• Assist in recruiting and developing a high-caliber team.
• Provide training and constructive feedback to employees.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain store appearance and execution of visual directives.
• Support scheduling including nights and weekends.
