Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive performance and lead a team in a high-volume eyewear store. You will support the Store Manager, train associates, and ensure exceptional customer care while meeting sales and service metrics.

The role requires an active state Opticianry license, a strong retail background, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. This on-site position offers a comprehensive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current & valid state Opticianry license.
• 1+ year(s) management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Excellent English communication in writing and speech.
• Strong selling skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in absence of the Store Manager and act as a business owner.
• Work to achieve KPIs: comp sales, conversion, traffic, and retention.
• Coach and develop team; provide training and feedback.
• Maintain store appearance and execute visual directives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Assist with recruiting and staffing to maintain coverage.
