Job description

The Training Coordinator shall develop, conduct, and document training for all relevant topics to remain compliant with policies and procedures of the following organizations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Train employees on forklifts and aerial booms.
  2. Provide employees with practical tests.
  3. Maintain a training program and documentation in the format prescribed by NIH policies and procedures, and standards for Orientation, Education, Training, and Competency of Staff.
  4. Schedule in-service training, including copies of lesson plans and a monthly report to the COR.
  5. Order training supplies and materials to enhance the instruction program.
  6. Coordinate with management to ensure all required trainings are being administered to employees.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skill Requirements
  1. Must be able to pass trainer courses for forklifts and aerial booms.
  2. Must be able to instruct students at extended heights.
  3. High school diploma/GED required.
  4. Ability to translate complex problems and concepts in training.
  5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
Working Conditions
  1. Ability to stay in one area for extended periods; may require pushing, pulling, stretching, kneeling as needed.
  2. Ability to lift 25 lbs.
