Qualifications

• Associate degree and four years of paid full-time professional, paraprofessional, or technical library experience.
• Knowledge of MARC, RDA, metadata standards and cataloging procedures.
• Strong project management, leadership and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate circulation, patron assistance, card applications and fines.
• Review orders, work with vendors, process invoices.
• Develop policies, procedures and respond to staff and patron questions.
• Assist in staff selection, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Design library publications and web pages, produce displays.
• Maintain cataloging records, update vendor records and generate reports.
• Coordinate circulation procedures and manual updates.
• Oversee library facilities, vehicles and equipment maintenance.
• Handle room rentals and payments.
• Support city goals and ensure safety compliance.
