Library Systems & Services, LLC. is seeking an IT Technician to provide customer service oriented technical support ensuring overall functionality of IT equipment used by staff and library patrons.

The role emphasizes clear communication of technical concepts and training staff on new systems and software. Candidates should have a high school diploma (Associates in computer technology or related certificate preferred), basic networking, Windows administration, and good written/oral

Qualifikationen

• Customer service oriented IT support.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking.
• Windows administration knowledge (incl. GPO).
• Ability to train staff on new systems.
• English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
• Ability to communicate with diverse populations.

Aufgaben

• Provide entry level IT support for library staff at multiple sites.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems encountered by end-users.
• Provide basic networking support.
• Interact with vendors as necessary to support and maintain the IT environment.
• Use established tracking systems to log requests; monitor progress and identify patterns.
• Effectively communicate with manager, staff, and end users regarding unresolved problems.
• Other duties as assigned.
