Durango Public Library seeks an IT Help Desk Technician based in the library to serve as the primary technology resource for staff and community members. You’ll support public computers, staff devices, meeting room technology, and library systems to connect technology with everyday user needs.

Your work will help community members access information and technology, from setting up equipment to troubleshooting software and coordinating with the City’s IT team for reliable tech access.

Formación

• Associate degree or equivalent training in a related field.
• Two years of experience supporting desktop, laptop, and tablet systems.
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
• Experience with SCCM or similar remote desktop tools preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide in-person and remote technology support to staff and community members.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade computers, laptops, tablets, printers, and software.
• Manage support requests and maintain records of repairs, updates, inventory, and system changes.
• Support library tech including public computers, meeting room equipment, self-check stations, and security cameras.
• Assist users with computers, mobile devices, emails, internet resources, databases, and digital materials.
• Maintain software, security tools, system images, and updates.
• Coordinate technology needs with the City’s IT team on projects and support.
• Train staff and community members on technology and digital tools.
• Maintain library webpages, the online catalog, and the library mobile app.
