Job summary

Teton County Library is seeking an IT Technician to provide basic technical support for county IT system operations under close supervision. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain standard computer applications, and assist staff to ensure reliable library services across the county network.

Required education is a High School Diploma or GED with up to 1 year of experience. A Wyoming/Idaho driver’s license is required; CompTIA certification should be earned within six months of hire where

Responsibilities

  • Responds to client inquiries and requests for service; interviews user to collect information about technology problems and guides user through diagnostic procedures.
  • Provides technical support, training, and assistance to employees; repairs and updates hardware and software.
  • Assists with maintenance of hardware, peripherals, and software applications; troubleshoots operational issues in the network.
  • Maintains equipment, computers, and software; inspects and repairs workstations.
  • Supports relationships with staff and the public, maintaining confidentiality and professional interaction.
