Job summary

Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the Facilities Department, maintenance staff, and an internal delivery driver for five library facilities. The role ensures safe operation, ADA compliance, and effective upkeep, with attention to safety policies and event readiness.

Evening and weekend emergency duties may be required. Strong budgeting, contract oversight, and vendor coordination are essential to support daily operations and library

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or completion of a technical specialty program preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience required; supervising maintenance staff preferred.
• Word processing and database program skills required.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record to operate library vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operation of the Facilities Department and maintenance staff.
• Maintains grounds and ensures safety and ADA compliance around library facilities.
• Manages Facilities Department budget including budgeting, quotes, and requisitions.
• Oversees procurement and supervision of contracted cleaning services for five facilities.
• Ensures safety policies, OSHA/PERRP/BWC compliance, and proper inspections.
