Job summary

The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the Facilities Department across five library locations. The role oversees maintenance staff and an internal delivery driver, ensuring daily operations, safety, and the upkeep of all facilities.

This exempt, full-time position (40 hours/week) requires supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license; Ohio Public Employees Retirement System pension, health, and life insurance benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or completion of a technical specialty program preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance required.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.
• Driver's license with a good driving record needed to operate library vehicles.

The Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is seeking applicants for the position of Facilities Manager.As part of the management team, the chosen candidate will oversee the daily operation of the Facilities Department, including managing maintenance staff and internal delivery driver. Daily operation includes the upkeep and overall appearance of the five library facilities. Job Type: Exempt Full-Time (40 hours per week) and available for emergency calls during off-hours.

Pay Range: $59,000-$69,000 annual salary, depending on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree or completion of a technical specialty program preferred.


• 3-5 years of experience in working in building maintenance required.


• 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.


• Word processing and database program skills required.


• Driver's license with a good driving record is needed to operate library vehicles.
