Library Systems & Services, LLC. in Hemet, California is seeking a Branch Manager I to oversee daily library operations and lead a dedicated staff focused on delivering exceptional patron service.

You will manage programming, outreach, promotions, and strategic planning while ensuring policy compliance and privacy standards, and fostering a welcoming community space. A BA/BS is required with at least three years of supervisory and management experience in library or public service settings;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MLIS or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in library or public service.
• Minimum 3 years of library management/administration experience.
• Excellent communication; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead programming and outreach team; facilitate regular team meetings.
• Propose and prioritize programming and outreach initiatives for approval by Deputy Director.
• Develop and distribute the programming and outreach schedule across all platforms and teams.
• Oversee and coordinate library promotions across print, social media, and websites.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve library operations and service opportunities.
• Provide strong customer service; respond to patron needs within policy parameters.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to set goals and solve problems.
• Assess situations and make timely decisions aligned with library mission.
• Develop strategies to advance library goals and evaluate outcomes.
• Partner with Deputy Director to support planning and execution of strategic plan.
• Ensure compliance with patron privacy and record custodianship.
