Library Systems & Services LLC in Hemet, CA is seeking a Branch Manager I to oversee day-to-day operations of a small library system under the Deputy Director, delivering strong leadership and exceptional patron service.

You will manage staff, coordinate programming, outreach, promotions, and ensure adherence to organizational standards while fostering a welcoming, community-centered library environment. A BA/BS is required, MLIS preferred, with three years' supervisory experience.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; MLIS or equivalent strongly preferred.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in library/public service.
• Three years of progressively responsible library management/administration experience.
• Spanish language abilities a plus.
• Clear, professional communication across all levels.

Mansioni

• Lead the library's programming and outreach team, including facilitating regular team meetings.
• Propose and prioritize programming and outreach initiatives for approval by the Deputy Director.
• Develop and distribute the programming and outreach schedule across all platforms and teams.
• Oversee and coordinate all library promotional efforts, including print materials, social media, and website updates.
• Identify and implement innovative strategies to improve library operations and create new service opportunities.
• Demonstrate strong customer service by anticipating and responding to patron needs.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to set goals, solve problems, and make decisions.
• Assess situations with sound judgment to determine importance, urgency, and risk, and make timely decisions.
• Develop strategies to advance library goals and evaluate progress.
• Analyze trends to make informed decisions aligned with the library’s mission.
