Library Systems & Services, LLC is seeking a Branch Manager I to oversee day-to-day operations of a small library system under the Deputy Director. You will lead a passionate staff, drive community-centered programs, and ensure exceptional patron service aligned with the organization's standards.

The role emphasizes program development, outreach leadership, and strategic planning to advance library goals while maintaining compliance with policies and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MLIS or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a library or related public service environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of library management/administration experience or equivalent.
• Must communicate clearly; Spanish ability is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead programming and outreach team and coordinate regular team meetings.
• Propose and prioritize programming/outreach initiatives for Deputy Director approval.
• Develop and distribute programming/outreach schedules across platforms and teams.
• Oversee and coordinate all library marketing efforts: print, social media, website updates.
• Identify innovative strategies to improve library operations and create new services.
• Demonstrate strong customer service; understand and respond to patron needs within policy.
