Job summary

The position requires an MLIS, 5+ years of professional library experience, and 2+ years of supervisory work. Night/weekend hours and travel between locations are required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of library or related professional experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience overseeing staff.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Leads staff at a large branch and coordinates daily operations.
• Directs day-to-day library services and supports system-wide initiatives.
• Develops staff through coaching, training, and performance measures.
• Manages budgets, procurement, and reporting for the location.
• Serves as primary liaison with other library departments and stakeholders.
