Job summary

Keel is seeking a Liaison Engineer to bridge design engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers on the shop floor. You will ensure manufacturability of engineering intent, maintain quality and flow, and troubleshoot in real time.

You will drive design-for-manufacturability improvements, manage non-conformances, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. Travel between facilities is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Proficiency in engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills with quick response to technical issues.
• Experience with MRB or ECR processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Experience with automation systems or robotics is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Disposition MRB decisions for non-conforming material.
• Draft and route ECRs for design and manufacturing changes.
• Provide on-the-floor troubleshooting to prevent line stoppages.
• Feed feedback to design teams to improve manufacturability.
• Interpret complex drawings and specifications for shop personnel.
• Coordinate with external suppliers on material deviations.
• Support automation and robotics implementations on the shop floor.
• Other duties as assigned.
