Job summary

Keel is seeking a Liaison Engineer to serve as the critical technical bridge between design engineering, manufacturing operations, and external suppliers. You will ensure engineering intent translates into manufacturable solutions on the shop floor while maintaining product quality, production flow, and compliance with standards.

You will drive design-for-manufacturability improvements, provide real-time troubleshooting, and manage non-conformances to support efficient and reliable production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or shop floor support is preferred.
• Proficient with engineering drawings, GD&T and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Dispositions non-conforming material (MRB) and participates in MRB decisions.
• Identify design errors or unbuildable shop-floor plans and draft design/manufacturing changes for approval.
• Provide real-time on-the-floor troubleshooting to prevent line stoppages.
• Feed shop-floor feedback to design teams to improve future revisions and tooling.
