Job summary

Interface Systems in a security operations center seeks a Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to manage real-time security events, perform alarm verification, and communicate with customers and emergency services from the on-site facility.

You will verify alarms via video and audio, de-escalate incidents, and generate detailed reports while maintaining precise records and coordinating with the team for rapid resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ensuring professional interactions.
• Strong active listening to understand customer needs in high pressure situations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks and virtual tours of customer locations to identify vulnerabilities.
• Communicate with customer locations using two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take action based on severity, including contacting emergency services when needed.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve, escalate, or support security inquiries.
• Maintain records and documentation in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals and perform video verification.
• Notify designated individuals of alarms per customer instructions.
• Provide life safety support with timely alarm communications to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting alarms.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events and de-escalate when required.
• Document interactions and generate detailed incident reports.
