Centurion Health at Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland, Missouri is hiring a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to administer medications and monitor patient responses under the direction of the facility nursing leadership. The role requires a High school diploma or GED and current active L1MA or CMT certifications (including insulin certification where applicable).

Experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional settings is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• L1MA certification and insulin certification (DHSS/DMH) preferred/required as applicable.
• CMT/CNA certification and insulin certification on Missouri State Registry.
• Must complete continuing education (minimum 4 hours every 2 years).
• Pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• One year of experience in acute care, emergency, or correctional settings preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications as prescribed under supervision.
• Documents medication effectiveness and any adverse actions or side effects.
• Maintain required training, tuberculosis documentation, and CPR/AED certification.
• Rotate evenings shift 3:00pm–11:00pm, 32 hours per week, weekends as scheduled.

Pay Ranges from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Ozark Correctional Center located in Fordland, Missouri.The Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.High school diploma or GED required.L1MA’s - preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification & Insulin certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).CMT’s – required to have current active status of Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Insulin certification on the Missouri State Registry (mo.tmutest.com)Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
