Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) for Chillicothe Correctional Center, MO. Responsibilities include administering medications and documenting responses under the nursing director’s supervision.

Required high school diploma; active L1MA or CMT/CNA with insulin certification preferred. Training, background check, and TB/CPR/AED compliance are essential, with shifts 5:00am–5:30pm and 3-12s on weekends.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Level 1 Medication Aide certification & insulin certification preferred.
• CMT/CNA certification and insulin certification on Missouri State Registry required for CMT option.
• Must complete continuing education to maintain certification (min 4 hours every 2 years).
• Must maintain TB documentation and active CPR/AED certification.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications as prescribed and documents effectiveness and adverse actions.
• Maintains required training, TB documentation, and CPR/AED certification.
• Pass background investigation and obtain applicable security clearance.
• Complete internal Level 1 medication aide and insulin training if not already certified.
• Support 3-12s day shift (5:00am–5:30pm) including every other weekend.

Pay Ranges from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri.The Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.High school diploma or GED required.L1MA’s - preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification & Insulin certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).CMT’s – required to have current active status of Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Insulin certification on the Missouri State Registry (mo.tmutest.com)Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
