Job summary

Centurion is seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center in Missouri. The role involves direct medication administration and patient care within a correctional setting, following strict safety and documentation standards.

The position requires high school diploma or GED and active MO L1MA/CMT credentials, plus insulin certification, CPR, and TB compliance. Training and background checks are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• L1MA certification with insulin certification preferred or active status from MO DHSS/DMH.
• CMT, CNA and insulin certification on MO Registry required.
• Required continuing education to maintain certification (min 4 hours every 2 years); current TB and CPR/AED.
• Background check and agency security clearance may be required.
• One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center located in Moberly, Missouri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• L1MA’s - preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification & Insulin certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).
• CMT’s – required to have current active status of Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Insulin certification on the Missouri State Registry (mo.tmutest.com)
• Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File. Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• If not already Level 1 Medication Aide certified – applicant must successfully complete internal level one medication aide and insulin training to maintain employment beyond probationary period.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.

Shift Details

Available Shift:Days, 3-12s, 6:00am-6:30pm or 7:00a-730pm (depending on assigned work station) and every other weekend
