Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center in Moberly, Missouri. Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness and side effects.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and relevant certifications (L1MA with insulin or CMT/CNA with insulin).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• L1MA certification & Insulin certification (DHSS/DMH) preferred for L1MA.
• CMT must have CNA and Insulin certification on Missouri State Registry.
• Continuing education: min 4 hours every 2 years.
• Maintain TB documentation and active CPR/AED.
• Background check and agency security clearance may be required.
• 1 year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.

Pay Ranges from $20.00 - $23.00 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at Moberly Correctional Center located in Moberly, Missouri.The Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.High school diploma or GED required.L1MA’s - preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification & Insulin certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).CMT’s – required to have current active status of Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Insulin certification on the Missouri State Registry (mo.tmutest.com)Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
