LEG-TECH, the nonpartisan technology solutions provider to the Washington State Legislature, seeks a temporary IT Customer Support Specialist for a 25-week session project based on the Capitol Campus with some remote work after training.

You will handle account management, hardware and software troubleshooting, video conferencing, and end-user support, requiring strong customer service and technical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience providing direct customer support in an IT service desk context.
Ability to interact with legislative staff and manage expectations professionally.
Familiarity with ITSM best practices and ticketing workflows.
Experience resolving hardware, software, network, and conferencing issues.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative government environment.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned accounts and access tasks, including permission changes and password resets.
Communicate clearly with staff and escalate issues when needed to ensure proper handling.
Support hardware, software, network services, and conferencing environments.
Assist with cybersecurity-related questions and threat responses as directed.
Assist with asset management, imaging, and incident resolution.
Support network troubleshooting and remote access problems.
Help with phones and video conferencing systems for legislative sessions.
